The Brewista Smart Scale 2 is a great helper for professional espresso preparation, but also for filter coffee. With an accuracy of 0.1 g, it helps you weigh the coffee and the water you pour over the beans and also accurately measure the brewing time to the second. The Brewista Smart Scale 2 is waterproof, so you don't have to worry about damaging your coffee while you're making it.

Multiple modes and a built-in battery
The Brewista Smart Scale 2 can not only weigh and measure time, but it has several different automatic modes, four of which are espresso-focused. These modes make making coffee even easier, as you won't have to press an extra button. Another bonus is that you don't have to deal with changing batteries, as this scale has a built-in battery and you can easily recharge it with the included micro USB cable. Also, to make the scale last as long as possible, you'll find a silicone pad in the package to protect the scale from heat and a plastic cover to protect it from bumps if you take it on the road, for example, or for safe storage.

Automatic modes
The Brewista Smart Scale 2 has six built-in automatic modes. The scale and time are held for five seconds after the container is removed from the scale.

1. Fully manual mode with manual zeroing of the scale and starting of the timer.
2. Automatic zeroing and instant start of the timer. Scale and timer start as soon as the cup is placed on the scale. Once you remove the cup, the readings will reset after five seconds.
3. Automatic zeroing and manual timer. The time and the scale will automatically zero as soon as you place the cup on the scale. This is most commonly used by starting the extraction on the machine and at the same time pressing the orange TIME button, which starts the timer. The timer then automatically stops the moment you take the cup off the scale. After five seconds, the scale resets to zero.
4. Automatic zeroing with the timer off. Place the cup on the scale and switch on coffee extraction. The scale shows automatically, the timer does not start. The scale resets five seconds after the cup is removed.
5. Automatic zeroing and automatic start of the timer. Place the cup on the scale and wait for it to zero. The timer starts automatically the moment the liquid touches the cup. To interrupt the timer, press the TIME button. The scale will reset itself five seconds after the cup is removed from the scale.
   Filter coffee mode. Place the prepared coffee container on the scale, press TARE and start pouring water over the coffee. The timer starts automatically. The scale will reset five seconds after the container is removed from the scale.
